Duku Highway in Xinjiang is a part of G2 17 National Highway and the main road connecting the north and south of Tianshan Mountain. The starting point of this highway is located in Dushanzi, Xinjiang, and the end point is Kuqa, with beautiful scenery along the way. So what scenic spots are there along Duku Highway?

One of the punch points: Dushanzi Grand Canyon is located 28 kilometers south of Dushanzi area. Snow and water in Tianshan Mountain flowed down Kuitun River, and the earth mountains on both sides of the river formed canyon landform after long-term scouring, with steep valley walls and deep gullies. The miracle of nature is amazing!

Punch point 2: The stone tablet of "Shoutianshan Road" is 4 1 km away from Dushanzi. This is a small scenic spot on Duku Highway. There is a tall monument to "Shoutianshan Road" with a big stone beside it. The front is engraved with "Looking at Tianshan Mountain" and the back is engraved with "Gong Jian Frontier". This section is Panshan Road, mostly downhill.

The third punch point: the tiger's mouth is 56 kilometers away from Dushanzi. One-third of the Dooku Highway is a cliff, and many places feel that the car is driving beside the cliff. The protruding wall stone may fall off at any time. Although it is blocked by a protective net, it still makes people nervous at all times. "Tiger Mouth" is the most dangerous section along the way. Drivers should pass as soon as possible and don't stop.

Punch point 4: Pu Tian is 95km away from Dushanzi. The red character "Tianshui Waterfall" on the stone wall is particularly conspicuous. The waterfall is naturally formed by the melting of glacier snow. In the mountainous area thousands of meters above sea level, this waterfall looks "mini" from a distance, but when it approaches, its momentum is shocking. Waterfalls are fast-flowing and the surrounding rock walls are steep, which has certain risks. Try not to climb up.

Punching point 5: Gendaban, Hasl is 0/07km away from Dushanzi/KLOC. Gendaban in Hasl is 3400 meters above sea level, which is the place with the most serious geological disasters. Geographically speaking, Gendaban, Hasl is the watershed of Kuitun River and Kashi River, and the dividing point of National Highway 2 17, Yili Prefecture and Tacheng Prefecture. Here you can enjoy the snow-capped mountains, glaciers, forests, alpine pastures and river valleys at close range. The Hasselgen Tunnel, the 100-meter snow corridor and the dammed lake are special attractions.

Punch point 6: Zhuo Ma Martyrs Cemetery is 34km away from Dushanzi/KLOC-0. The cemetery is located in Qiaoerma, Nileke County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, in memory of the China People's Liberation Army 168 soldiers who died heroically in the construction of the Tianshan Duku Highway. Qiaoerma Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery has become a famous red scenic spot on Duku Highway.

Here, visitors can visit the memorial hall, pay homage to the monument and the tomb of the martyrs, explore the red memory at close range and cherish the achievements of the martyrs. Jorma is one of the few places in the northern section of Dooku Highway where tourists can rest.

Punch-in point 7: Tamboura Forest Park is located at S3 15, which is west of Jorma fork road, providing travelers with another choice of direct access to Yili. Along the way, Tamboura has a beautiful "Baili Gallery": lush forests, strange stones and colorful flowers and plants. The beautiful scenery along the way is dazzling.

Punch point 8: Yuxi Molegedaban is 0/69 km away from Dushanzi/KLOC. Daban is about 3300 meters above sea level, which is the highest mountain section of Abu Ghrair Mountain and the highest point of Daban Highway. Yuxi Molegei Tunnel may be temporarily closed for various reasons during the opening of Duku Highway every year. At this time, we will take the old road of gravel matrix and cross the slab.
