Location advantage of Xiashu Town

Xiashu Town is located at the northern end of jurong city, near the river and harbor, with obvious geographical advantages. The town has a total area of 152 square kilometers, a registered population of 42,000, and governs 10 administrative villages and 2 communities. Under the direct leadership of jurong city Municipal Government, we have developed and built the industrial concentration area near the port (with a total planned area of 60 square kilometers, including the core area of 14 square kilometers and the starting area of 2.7 square kilometers), and successively built a number of basic supporting facilities such as regional water supply project, sewage treatment project, "four vertical and two horizontal" road project in the park, and relocation and resettlement project of the Yangtze River Garden. A number of key enterprises such as formwork cement, Jianhua pipe pile, Yima hardware, Daquan railway and Beixin building materials have been built and expanded successively, and a relatively complete industrial chain of new building materials has been initially established. Xiashu Town is located in the "Yangtze River Delta", with unique geographical advantages, developed land and water transportation and rich mineral resources. Golden Waterway of the Yangtze River, National Highway 3 12, Shanghai-Nanjing Railway and high-grade highway along the Yangtze River all pass through the territory, and Jushu first-class highway runs through the whole territory and leads to longtan port. The reserves of "Xia Shu Clay" named by the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources with "Xia Shu as the standard sample" exceed 1 100 million tons. The reserves of limestone are more than 200 million tons, and the reserves of marble, granite, dolomite and gypsum are about 654.38+billion tons. Underground mineral water is abundant. Water, electricity and other infrastructure are complete.
