A Brief History of Longxi Middle School in Chaoan County

Longxi Middle School in Chaoan County is a complete middle school with a long history, glorious tradition and excellent school spirit. Located in Anbu Town, Chao 'an County, Chaozhou City, known as "Zou Lu by the Sea". Longxi Middle School was founded in 1924, formerly known as Longxi Academy, and was founded in the sixth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1880). After liberation, it was once called: Chaoan No.8 Middle School, Chaoan No.5 Middle School, Chaoan Kangda Middle School and Chaozhou Anbu Middle School. After several renaming, 1990 was renamed as Longxi Middle School in Chao 'an County. At present, the school is divided into two campuses, north and south. There are 82 classes with more than 5,400 students and 272 faculty members, including 22 senior teachers. The proportion of teachers with intermediate titles or above in the number of teachers in the whole school.
