Minquan County belongs to Shangqiu City, Henan Province.

Minquan County is located in the east of Henan Province, northeast of Yudong Plain, south wing of Yellow River alluvial fan, west of lankao county, north of Cao Xian County, east of Suiyang District and Ningling County, south of Suixian County and Qixian County.

Minquan County is slightly inclined from northwest to southeast, with an altitude of 70 meters in the northwest and 60 meters in the southeast. With the old dike of the Yellow River as the boundary, different landforms are formed in the north and south, with high beaches in the north and yellow slightly undulating plains and aeolian sand dunes in the south. The rivers in Minquan County belong to Huaihe River system, winding to the southeast, with wide and shallow riverbed, small gradient and slow flow. The main rivers are the Old Yellow River, Xiaodi River and Tonghui Canal.
