Job Recruitment Website - Job seeking and recruitment - Do you want to prepare anything before the interview? Is there anything to pay attention to during the interview?
Do you want to prepare anything before the interview? Is there anything to pay attention to during the interview?
Today, I will give you an inventory of what preparations you need to make before the interview, so that everyone can have an excellent performance in the interview. Don't step on the thunder, move the small bench and listen carefully!
First, present a good mental outlook. I have seen many similar answers, but I seldom mention this. But I really think this is super important! ! Mental outlook is what adults call "vigor". This kind of "vitality" is accumulated by your years of life. For example, a good work and rest and regular exercise can make a person look "energetic". Compared with the candidates who are listless and have dark circles, HR naturally prefers the former.
Long-term habits depend on daily accumulation, but on the eve of the interview, there are still Buddha's feet to hold!
Boys shave in advance, iron interview clothes (if formal clothes are needed) and shine shoes. Girls remember to apply a mask to keep their skin in good condition. Remember, fresh hair, simple jewelry, suitable clothes, etc. Can add a lot of impression points to your interview.
Oh, yes, and most importantly, don't stay up, don't stay up, don't stay up.
Second, review your resume. Generally, small partners who are looking for a job will not only invest in one company. Due to the different attributes of companies, we do not recommend investing in N companies with one resume. Therefore, after you receive the interview notice, the first thing you should do is to find out the resume you sent to this company and examine it carefully.
On the one hand, the purpose of this is to familiarize the partners who received the interview invitation a few days after submitting their resumes, so as to avoid forgetting something before the interview.
The second is to avoid that if there is a beautification part in the resume, the result will not be noticed, and what is said is inconsistent with the resume display. Generally speaking, HR questions will be based on your resume. You should pay attention to every piece of information you write on your resume, especially "work experience" and "project experience", which are often the two parts that HR is most interested in, and determine whether you match the position you want to apply for. Never let HR ask you about your resume, but you can't say anything.
Third, understand the company and the position. As the saying goes, know yourself and yourself, and you will be invincible. Before going to the interview, you must know the basic situation of the company and the position you are applying for.
About the company
You should know the most basic name, address and main business.
Advanced version of information: business situation, listing or not, financial statements, development trends, these are also good to know more;
Higher level: entrepreneurial stories, corporate culture, etc. If you can show it naturally in the process of communication, then HR will treat you as one of their own.
About the post
First of all, we should study the job requirements (JD) of enterprises. JD contains extremely rich information. You should extract the keywords from JD (as shown below) and match them with your own situation. Try to express them around these keywords during the interview. Never spend a long time describing your work experience or skills that have nothing to do with the position you want to apply for in the interview.
Fourth, think about the questions that HR might ask. There are two kinds of questions to ask here. One is a standard question, who has rules to follow and answers routines for reference; Another kind of nonstandard question refers to the question randomly dispersed in the interview communication process.
(1) For the first standard question, I summarized some routines for you and paid attention to the essence.
self-introduction
Remember not to repeat your resume, think about what you want to say in advance and find out your own logic, otherwise it will easily confuse the interviewer.
The duration should not be too long, just keep it at 1-2 minutes. If you don't know what to say, here are three suggestions:
(1) Introduce yourself briefly
Including the name, working hours and other basic introduction, if you are still a student, you should say what year you graduated.
As for academic qualifications, if your school is excellent or your major is related to your position, you can say so, otherwise don't mention it. After all, it is written in black and white on the resume, and HR can know it at a glance.
(2) Introduction of advantages
This can be described according to the job responsibilities analyzed above, and the most important one or two points can be selected to match your own work experience or project experience.
Tip: How to describe your work experience or project experience more systematically?
My answer is: use the star rule to describe your work experience, so that your narrative is logical at first glance and instantly superior to others.
The so-called star rule, the specific steps are as follows:
List the scene first, and then list the tasks, actions and results in concise words. Keywords include numbers, listed by article, quantified results, and reasonably displayed.
You can also mention it briefly when you introduce yourself, and then use this method when you unfold the narrative. In a word, everyone should be flexible.
By the way, don't use words when you can use numbers! Work results must be released! For example, if you say "I participated in the xx design competition in June 200212002, I was in charge of xx and finally won xx", is it much better than your boring saying "I participated in the xx project"?
(3) Views on the company
Now you can skillfully use the company knowledge previewed in advance. You can talk about the company's industry, products and corporate culture. , and briefly describe your opinion. It is a small plus item for self-introduction without rainbow fart ~ However, if you are really not sure, you can also remove it.
Salary problem
I don't agree with the widely circulated sentence: "If the salary is written in 4k-6k, it is 4k". After all, different companies in the industry have different styles of doing things.
Generally speaking, the final salary will be the average of the range. If you are smart, you may be a little higher than the average, but writing 4k-6k-6 K is impossible to say that you can finally get 6k and above.
So through this scientific (unreasonable) algorithm, you probably know how much money you can get in a month before submitting your resume, so don't keep asking HR questions about salary during the interview.
If you want to know, you can ask how to pay five insurances and one gold. After all, besides money, treatment is also very important.
As for the salary negotiable, some companies mean that they won't give you a high salary, but some companies decide how much you are worth by looking at your value, so we should analyze it in detail. But because there is no salary as a reference, it is more reasonable for you to focus on the companies and positions you are interested in when submitting your resume.
In addition, if the salary ceiling on JD can't reach your bottom line (after all, people have to eat), then don't waste time submitting your resume for an interview. If you have the time, you might as well polish your resume and vote for a company you want to go to.
merits and demerits
When HR asks, "What are your strengths or weaknesses?" Generally, it depends on whether you have an accurate grasp of your own cognition, so this question should be more sincere to some extent. I don't need to continue to emphasize the wrong answer to the standard "My weakness is to pursue perfection too much". After all, you will feel embarrassed to say it yourself.
(1) About the advantages:
First of all, the advantages you talk about must match the job requirements, and how to match them should be based on JD (refer to part3). Needless to say, you like playing basketball and singing.
Secondly, you should have "arguments" to support "your arguments". For example, if you say that you are proficient in Java, what about the evidence? At this time, the star rule will be used again. Please refer to the above for specific steps.
(2) About shortcomings:
Don't say that you won't know the skills that the position clearly requires you to know. If you really can't, please hold the Buddha's foot hard before the interview and turn "not at all" into "basic proficiency", otherwise one of your shortcomings will end the whole interview game.
My suggestion is that you can mention the "small" shortcomings in your personality or habits, and you can also mention what efforts you have made to get rid of this shortcoming and turn your small shortcomings into harmless or even lovely features.
Overtime problem
I am most afraid that HR will suddenly say hello: "Can you adapt to flexible working system/overtime?" If you say yes, it is the later self who suffers; If you say no, you will lose yourself now.
Recently, I watched a Japanese drama "I got off work", which was very touching. It's really important for people to have their own private time. Precious time after work is used to recharge yourself. Of course, Boss doesn't think so.
So you can refer to my summary of the standard answer: "If there is an urgent job, I will accept a certain degree of overtime, but I will also improve my work efficiency and try to avoid overtime because of inefficiency."
The reason for leaving the last company
Freshmen don't have to think about this problem, but "former" friends still have to think about it.
It's like a lover asking his ex. Remember, how to get along with your girlfriend, you should get along with HR. Even if she asks her ex, don't talk too much about the right or wrong of her ex. Try to change the subject and say how good she is and how to attract you.
In the same way, don't talk about the shortcomings of the former company (even if it is really bad). If HR asks deeply, you should blame it on "inappropriateness", personal development and company development. After all, HR will think, you can say that the previous company is not good, and after leaving this company, you will also say that this company is not good. Nobody likes troublemakers.
Finally, we must turn back to "how good your company is and how suitable it is for me", understand?
Interviewer: Is there anything you want to ask me?
Generally speaking, HR will definitely ask, "Do you have any questions?" At the end of the interview. This time is the time to show whether you are independent and have the ability to think independently. You must not say "no problem". You are very kind, but there may be something wrong with your work.
Especially those who feel that their communication in front is not smooth, we must seize this opportunity to communicate with HR more.
It can be an extension of the previous topic: I have a general understanding of my job responsibilities, so how can I evaluate my job performance?
It can be an understanding of the work team: what is the organizational structure of our company?
It can be about the development of the company: what is the future development direction of our company?
It can be about training and promotion: what is the training system and promotion channel within the company?
......
Of course, you can ask anything specific, as long as it is related to work, but remember to show your independent thinking ability ~ ~
(2) For the second unconventional problem, there is no routine to summarize for everyone. After all, what topic to talk about is related to the details of the day's communication, but I think if you understand the answers to these questions, even if you ask unprepared questions, you will be fearless and generous.
Finally, remember that polite children (adults) are always more attractive!
The above is the result of my painstaking research for the preparation before the interview. I hope it will help everyone!
Good luck in your interview and find a job you like.
