What efforts have you made not to go to work?

Do you remember the fear of being dominated by nails? Remember the sudden concern of the boss in the serial phone call? Remember receiving a greeting "Don't worry, just give it to me on Monday morning" on Friday night?

I don't know if everyone is like me, there will always be one or two in a month (maybe seven, eight, nine? There is an impulse to leave with one button in an instant.

What paw empowerment, what link closed loop, what pull alignment, these dirty things come back to me! Step back. Step back. Now I want to take advantage of this natural sunny day, turn off the computer, take my beloved girl to the seaside and never come back to face this bad job.

So, I seriously thought about not going to work at night that might be (angry with my colleagues).

I asked myself five questions:

1. How much deposit do I need to leave my job?

2. How much money do I have now? How much passive income can these savings bring me?

3. How much does my present life cost every month?

If I suddenly lose my job now, how long can my savings keep me alive?

If I keep earning this salary, how much can I earn when I retire?

After I searched all the bank cards, calculated the monthly bills, and even searched my retirement policy through Baidu, I found that I still have a long way to go to work.

Looking at the draft paper all over the table, I think that every time I do this calculation, my draft paper will not hold up. Why not make a gadget to remind me: how far is it from achieving my goal of not going to work?

I told Miss Xiaohua my idea, and we hit it off and started our first cooperation ~

The final form of the product gadget chose the WeChat applet (the specific reason can be started separately at the back, and the pit is dug first).

We decided to play a homophonic terrier and named our little program "Ducks who don't want to work". Because of this homophonic terrier, we naturally took ducks as our mascots.

We set a deadline for the prototype document every day, and after a week of "tomorrow", we finally decided what kind of functions this applet needs:

First of all, we hope this small program can query the retirement time and how much a part-time worker can earn by retiring at the current salary level;

Secondly, we hope to see the time when our present savings can let us lie flat and rot in the same place and become carefree three gods. Although this function was originally named f**k u money, after all, and * is not a good word, and it was eventually renamed as "rotten time";

In addition, because of some selfishness, we also joined two interesting interactions:

What to do after work: You can randomly choose the time to do after work (from my colleague Wang Juan, who complains to me every day that he doesn't know what to do after work).

Duck-duck resignation letter: a weekly resignation tip, so that everyone can let go of themselves on the road of not working.

Finally, we all agree that holidays should be given a sense of ceremony, so we want to see the days before the next holiday.

After several deadline sessions tomorrow, I finally finished a simple and rough product prototype, adding all the functions we like.

Design I hope our design style is youthful, lovely and full of cheerful atmosphere (it is better to be colorful black, so cross this out). After all, it's bad enough to go to work, and we need something lovely to give back blood.

After repeated adjustments and polishing, compared with the homepage of the sixth edition, we unanimously chose the version you are seeing now (it is really impossible to make more sets) ~

There is nothing to explain. It's all in the picture

The division of labor between Xiaohua and me is that she is responsible for the design and I am responsible for writing the code, so after finishing the draft UI, the pressure comes to me (after all, I mumble like a storm every day: Is the map ready? Is the map ready? Is the map ready? )。

Looking at the fancy interface, I lamented that our small program was so cute, but at the same time I felt that cuteness came at a price, and the front-end code was too difficult to write. I even suspected that I had dug a hole for myself, and I had to finish writing the interface I wanted to add.

The code in most people's eyes is boring, but in those half months, I was immersed in it every day, just like playing chicken blood. The whole development process is very smooth. With the hand speed that Keyboard Man has practiced for many years, the code of the whole small program was written in less than half a month.

After the launch of "Ducks Who Don't Want to Work", we shared it with our friends and got recognition and love from many people. We decided to maintain our duckling action, hoping that our duckling can comfort everyone in this troubled world and cure every migrant worker who doesn't want to go to work for a short time.

This is the story of a small program I developed because I didn't want to go to work. It is also my effort not to go to work, and I hope to share it with you.
