Guangtong is a town under the jurisdiction of Lufeng County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

Guangtong Town is located in the hinterland of central Yunnan, with Kunming 159 km to the south, Chuxiong 26 km to the west and Lufeng 50 km to the east. Guangtong Town is located between the economic circles of central and western Yunnan, and it is the junction of central and western Yunnan.

Chengdu-kunming railway runs through the whole territory, with special railway lines 17, 27 cargo transfer stations (yards) and 23 loading and unloading platforms, with a storage area of about 230,000 square meters.
