What are the ethnic minorities in China?

Among the 56 ethnic groups in China, except the Han nationality, all other ethnic groups are ethnic minorities, including Ewenki, Achang, Bai, Baoan and Bulang.

1, Ewenki: Ewenki (Russian: эвенки, formerly known as Tunguska or Soren) is a nationality in Northeast Asia, mainly living in Siberia, China, Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang provinces, with a small distribution in Mongolia. Achang: Achang is mainly distributed in Husa Achang Township, Nangsong Achang Township and Jiubao Achang Township in Longchuan County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and the rest are distributed in Luxi, Yingjiang, Tengchong, Longling and Yunlong counties. In addition, there are some Achang ethnic groups in neighboring Myanmar.

Bai nationality: mainly distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan and other provinces, among which the Bai nationality in Yunnan Province has the largest population and mainly lives in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. In addition, it is also distributed in Sichuan and Chongqing. Bai nationality has its own national language, and Bai language belongs to Yi branch of Tibeto-Burman language family of Sino-Tibetan language family. Chinese has been widely used by Bai people since ancient times.

Bao 'an ethnic group: Bao 'an ethnic group is one of the ethnic groups with a small population in China, and its national language is Bao 'an, belonging to Mongolian group of Altai language family. Due to the communication with the leaders of the surrounding Han and Hui clans, many Chinese loanwords have appeared in the security language commonly used as a social communication tool in Chinese.

5. Bulang: Bulang is a minority with a long history. The national language is Brown, which belongs to the Brown branch of the Mon-Khmer language family of South Asian language family. It can be divided into two major dialect areas, Brown and Awa, and there is no national language. Bulang nationality has a very rich oral culture, and still retains the most distinctive national language, costumes, songs and dances, customs and habits.
