This secret recipe is not passed down from son to daughter, so it must be passed down before death. Therefore, it will take about 60 years to pass it on to a generation. In the eighth year of Tongzhi (A.D. 1869), Chen San died and had to pass it on to disciple Zhao because he had no children. Later, it was changed to "Li Chuanyong". 1928, to Deng Zijun. 1929 One day, Deng Zijun went to the home of Lei, director of the Yong Lian Bureau of Yibin County for dinner and presented several bottles of "miscellaneous grains wine" brewed by his own workshop. After the guests tasted the wine, they all praised it. Yang Huiquan, a juren in the late Qing Dynasty, said, "It seems vulgar to call it' miscellaneous grains wine'. This wine is made from the essence of five kinds of grains and is simply called' Wuliangye'. Wuliangye got its name from this.
