The school is adjacent to Shantou University and the Tropic of Cancer Sign Tower, covering an area of nearly 40 mu, with a building area of more than 20,000 square meters. The campus network uses DDN dedicated line to access the Internet to meet the needs of various courses and extracurricular activities. Every room in the student dormitory is equipped with a bathroom, telephone, electric fan, etc. Each bed is equipped with a writing desk and wardrobe. The school implements closed management (8 pm on Sunday to 4 pm on Friday). The school attaches importance to moral education, and the teaching quality has been steadily improved. In recent years, the school has adhered to the training mode of "people-oriented, moral education first, one specialty and many abilities", strengthened moral education, built a good school spirit, optimized majors and curriculum settings, improved teaching methods, and implemented school-enterprise cooperation, so that the teaching quality has been steadily improved, the social reputation has become better and better, graduates have advantages in employment, have the ability to start businesses, and there is hope for further studies. The direct employment rate of graduates is above 95% every year (including self-employment and continuing education).
