The No.1 Senior High School in Songxian County, Henan Province is located on Baiyun Avenue in Songxian County, 70km south of Luoyang City. Backed by Baiyun Mountain, a fairyland on earth, it is adjacent to the vast Luhun Lake. It is a model ordinary high school and civilized school in Henan Province. Its predecessor was 1933 private Songying Middle School founded by social celebrities, and 1978 changed its name to Songxian No.1 High School in Henan Province.

The school covers 2 19 mu. There are 3 teaching buildings, 1 science and technology building, 1 swimming pool, 3 male dormitories, 3 female dormitories, 2 restaurants, 1 high-standard sports ground, 1 teaching area and 1 teachers' residential area. Adjacent to Luhun Lake, Luoluan Expressway passes through the school gate. There are more than 200 faculty members and nearly 7,000 students, and the number of undergraduates online increases by double digits every year.
