Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital

The South Campus of the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiaotong University (the South Campus of the Ninth People's Hospital) is located at No.639, Manufacturing Bureau Road, Huangpu District, downtown Shanghai. It is adjacent to Tibet South Road Station of Metro Lines 4 and 8 in the east, connected to the elevated Zhongshan Ring Road in the south, and faces Pudong across the river. The predecessor "Bethel Hospital" was founded in 1920. 1952 was renamed Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, and 1964 officially became the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Second Medical University. In 2005, it was renamed the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. The Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine has gone through a glorious history of more than 80 years. The Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine is also one of the third-class first-class hospitals in Shanghai.
