What's the difference between first-class steel, high-speed wire and ordinary wire in building steel?

altitude

A kind of wire rod, usually refers to the wire rod rolled by "high-speed twist-free rolling mill", common low-carbon steel wire rod (ZBH4403-88) and high-quality carbon steel wire rod (ZBH44002-88). The rolling speed of high-speed wire rod is 80- 160m/s, the weight (disc weight) of each wire rod is 1.8-2.5t, and the dimensional tolerance accuracy is high (up to 0.02mm). In the rolling process, the different requirements of products can be ensured by adjusting the process parameters (especially on the cooling line).

Ordinary wire rod, also known as ordinary low carbon steel hot rolled wire rod, is a kind of wire rod with wide uses. It is made of ordinary carbon steel by hot rolling, with a nominal diameter of 5.5- 14.0mm and a weight of 100-200kg. At present, many companies, such as Baoding Puri Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., mostly use torsion-free high-speed wire rod mill for rolling, and adopt controlled cooling after rolling. Ordinary wire rod is mainly used in construction, wire drawing and so on. Generally speaking, wire processing in the construction site doesn't care much about high-speed wire and general wire. However, in the metal products processing industry, such as the production of cold screws, cold twisting, nail making, wire drawing, etc., these enterprises prefer to use high-speed wire rods, because high-speed wire rods are not messy, which can reduce butt welding and accelerate the production pace.
