"Prosecutorial Fengyun" was filmed in Dongguan and Pingtan, Fujian.

"The Prosecutorial Storm" has been filmed in Dongguan almost all the time. Preparations began in May 2020, and it was officially launched at Kangdi International Hotel in Dongguan on July 28th of that year, until it was released in Pingtan, Fujian on September 2nd1,which lasted more than four months.

"Prosecutorial Fengyun" was filmed in many towns and streets (parks) in Dongguan, including Dongguan People's Procuratorate, Guangdong Hotel Management Vocational and Technical College, Dalingshan Forest Park, Dongguan Avenue, UCC Global Huijin Center, Fumin Commercial Pedestrian Street, Kangdi International Hotel, Kang Hua Hospital, Zhongfu Commercial Center, Sha Tong Ecological Park, Boyazhai Antique City, Songshan Lake Traffic Police Brigade and Ecological Park Police Station.

The film was filmed in Dongguan because Dongguan is a very open and inclusive city, and the government, enterprises and citizens are very supportive of filming.

Evaluation of the film "The Prosecution Storm"

The biggest feature of "The Prosecutorial Storm" is that it shows the reasoning and judgment of case investigation and the tense trial confrontation between the prosecution and the defense from the perspective of the prosecutor, and at the same time shows the duty and mission of the prosecutor to safeguard fairness and justice and seek the truth.

The innovation of the film lies in the unique choice of perspective and the tortuous and compact narrative structure. Different from the fierce fighting scenes and dramatic conflicts in the police film, this film focuses on the process of perfecting the evidence before the trial from the perspective of prosecutor Li Rui. From cooperating with the police to prosecuting in court, conclusive evidence, rigorous logic and meticulous reasoning are fascinating.

In the narrative rhythm, the whole film takes the confrontation in court as the node and many criss-crossing cases as the main line. By using the editing method of antecedents and consequences and the narrative technique of reverse order and narration, it adds suspense to the story and enhances the audience's immersive viewing experience.
