Take my personal experience as an example (I have been teaching in art training classes for about ten years)

I am an art student and took the art exam to study at the Academy of Fine Arts (non-normal school); I regard teaching art training classes as a part-time job. On weekends, winter and summer vacations, I will contact the school to schedule classes when I have time.

1. Love, patience and carefulness are essential! ①Love; you must like children and be tolerant of children. This is the foundation of being a children’s teacher! Because you will encounter naughty students all the time, you need to adjust your mentality, find appropriate communication methods, and solve problems in getting along with students. ② Be patient; when students have certain problems with their understanding, be sure to switch to different thinking angles and try to make students understand what you are saying as much as possible. Use students' thinking more and tell course knowledge from students' worldview.

For example, let students in small classes draw a cat and explain the course knowledge using language and rhetorical techniques they can understand; a round head, what is on the left and what is on the right (explained in terms of direction); ears What shape is it, what does it look like, what does the mouth look like, etc., to make it easier for students to understand. ③Be careful; observe the students' situation, not only about classroom learning, but also about life. For example, whether the shoelaces are unraveled, whether there is a runny nose, etc., through these careful actions, students will feel the teacher's love

2. With the above psychological preparation, the hardware requirement is a teacher qualification certificate! The primary school art exam I took was relatively easy. I only prepared for the exam for more than a week, and I basically passed it in one go, which was very smooth. Training institutions also have requirements for teacher qualifications

3. When entering the teaching stage, you must first have the ability to develop courseware. Design appropriate art courseware according to students’ age, physical and psychological characteristics to ensure students’ absorption and mastery of the courseware

4. Class control ability; reasonably allocate classroom time: pre-class guidance, student creation, teacher comments, etc. The process requires teachers to master the time; otherwise students will not be able to complete their classroom assignments, which is considered a classroom accident

5. Communication skills with parents; when a teacher is unavoidable, he must communicate with parents, and he must obtain Show a professional and responsible attitude, summarize and explain the students' situation to parents; do a good job in communication, which can directly determine your teaching reputation and subsequent student renewal issues

6. The ability to communicate with the school; Scheduling classes, course activities, etc., there are a lot of tasks outside the classroom that need to be dealt with, but they are not difficult
