Nanfeng County is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province and the south of Fuzhou City. Nanfeng County was founded in the second year of Wu Taiping in the Three Kingdoms (AD 257), with a history of 1700 years. Historical evolution of Nanfeng county

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it was the land of Wu Yue Chu, and Han was the land of Nancheng County, which belonged to the county. In the second year of Wu Taiping in the Three Kingdoms (257), the southern part of Cheng Nan was set aside and Fengxian County was established. Because Xuzhou has Fengxian County, it was renamed Nanfeng County and posthumous title Jiahe, belonging to Linchuan County.

In the eighth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 138), three townships south of Nanfeng were designated as Guangchang County. From the 19th year of Yuan Dynasty (1282) to the 3rd year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1370), Nanfeng was promoted to Zhili Prefecture. Since then, although the affiliation has changed, the territory has not changed much.
