Overview of the current situation of Dujiangyan Economic Development Zone

The current planning area is industrial land. The established industrial enterprises are mainly concentrated east of Duwen Railway and on both sides of Puyang Avenue.

At present, the 6.67 square kilometers of industrial land developed in the first phase of the park have basically been fully occupied. The southern district and the new industrial city are under development, and the existing two 100,000 square meter standardized factories are under active construction. Among them, the focus is on introducing the electronics and software industries and their upstream supporting enterprises, taking into account cultural creativity and tourism product manufacturing and its upstream supporting enterprises, the health food industry and its upstream supporting enterprises, and taking into account the manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine and its upstream supporting enterprises. The park has built a "six vertical and five horizontal" skeleton road network, forming a project carrying capacity of 6.6 square kilometers.

The natural reserves of water energy in the city ranks first among all districts and counties in Chengdu. The Zipingpu Hydropower Station, a landmark project of the Western Development, is located in Dujiangyan City. Currently, 61 hydropower stations have been built in the city, with an installed capacity of 92 10,000 KW. Natural gas in the city is supplied by Sinopec and PetroChina, with a daily gas supply capacity of 300,000 cubic meters. There is one gas distribution station in the applied product manufacturing area. The Dujiangyan City Water Supply Company has a daily water supply capacity of 300,000 cubic meters, which fully meets the water needs of production enterprises in the area. It also has a sewage treatment plant with a daily treatment capacity of 80,000 tons of sewage, which solves the problem of sewage discharge by production enterprises. Sichuan Dujiangyan Economic Development Zone is surrounded by more than 20 colleges and universities such as Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Chengdu Neusoft Institute, training more than 20,000 professional talents every year. Chengdu Neusoft University, Sichuan Agricultural University, Sichuan Water Conservancy Technology College, Sichuan Industry and Commerce Vocational and Technical College, Dujiangyan Vocational and Technical College and other institutions can provide enterprises with order-based talent training programs to solve corporate talent problems.
