What is knowledge-intensive service industry?

Knowledge-intensive service industry refers to the service that enterprises integrate a lot of professional knowledge such as science, engineering and technology when providing services.

Specifically, it includes financial services (banking, securities, insurance and other financial activities), information and communication services (telecommunications and other communication services, computer services, software industry and so on. ), scientific and technological services (research and experimental development, professional and technical services, engineering technology and plan management, scientific and technological exchange and promotion services, etc. ) and business services (legal services, consultation and investigation, other business services, etc. ).
