The Yichang Xiaoting cogeneration project of China Resources Power was built and operated by Hong Kong China Resources Power Holding Co., Ltd., which is a new independent power generation company established in full accordance with the modern company system. The project is located in Xiaoting Industrial Park, Yichang City. The first phase of supercritical coal-fired heating unit with installed capacity of 2×350MW and its supporting heating network project. It is planned to build a 4×350MW supercritical coal-fired heating unit, which will be implemented in two phases. It is planned to officially pour the first tank of concrete at the end of 20 12, and put the first unit into commercial operation at the end of 20 13. In this project, desulfurization and denitrification devices will be built at the same time. The project construction will meet the rapid growth of heat load in Xiaoting Development Zone of Yichang City, and at the same time meet the growth of electricity load in Hubei Power Grid, which is conducive to the adjustment of power supply structure and mutual assistance of water and fire in Hubei Power Grid, and to the realization of energy conservation and emission reduction targets in Yichang City.
