There are several BYD factories in Shanwei.

There are two, namely: BYD Auto Shanwei Factory and BYD Technology Shanwei Factory.

1, BYD Auto Shanwei Factory was established in 2005, which is one of the earliest automobile production bases of BYD Company. The factory covers an area of about 1 100 mu, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles. The main models produced by the factory are BYD F3 and other cars.

2. BYD Technology Shanwei Factory was established in 2009 and is one of the main battery production bases of BYD in eastern Guangdong. The factory covers an area of about 350 mu with an annual production capacity of 10GWh. The main products produced by this factory include power batteries and energy storage batteries.
