Lanshan Port, located in Lanshan District of Rizhao City, is a national first-class open port, which has formed a port cluster with Lanshan Port Area, Lanbei Port Area, Lanqiao Port Area, Tonghai Port Area and Steel Port Area as the main body, and has built 29 berths above 5,000 tons.

Lanshan Port is located on the coastline with prominent bedrock points on the north side of Haizhou Bay. 1977 was newly opened as an external port 2.5km east of Lanshan old port area, with a coastline of 5km and natural water depth outside the headland-13 m ~- 18 m.
