Does Jimei University have a full-time junior college?

Jimei University does not offer full-time junior college programs, but it does offer junior college programs upgrading to undergraduate programs.

The school began with the Normal Department of Jimei School founded by the famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1918 and the Fisheries and Business Department of Jimei School founded in 1920. It has a history of a hundred years.

In 1994, Jimei Normal College, Jimei Navigation College, Jimei Finance College, Xiamen Fisheries College, and Fujian Sports College merged to form Jimei University. The school takes "Integrity and Perseverance" as its motto, and in its long-term school-running practice, it adheres to the principle of "Jia Kee spirit to establish a school, integrity and perseverance to cultivate people", and enjoys a wide reputation at home and abroad.
