Liu ling, a calligrapher in liu ling

Liu ling, a native of Weishan County, Shandong Province, is a member of China Book Association, vice chairman of Jining Book Association and chairman of Weishan Book Association. Liu ling was not born in a regular school, but he loved calligraphy since he was a child, and made his mark at many juvenile book fairs. It was in the 1980s that the spring breeze of reform and opening-up melted the hard ice on Weishan Lake. Weishan county arts and crafts factory came into being. The county government wants to use the specialties of Weishan to produce handicrafts and engage in cultural industries to develop the economy. 1985 part of the workers are recruited, and Mr. Shui, a technician of the craft factory, is responsible for the recruitment. At that time, Mr. Shui was a famous calligrapher in the local area, and he had the saying that "Weishan signs look". He was in charge of recruitment, and calligraphy became an important employment condition, so liu ling won the first place. Unexpectedly, 1987, Liu Lin married Mr. Shui's daughter. I don't know whether Mr. Shui chose his son-in-law in the name of recruiting talented people or whether liu ling pursued Mr. Shui's daughter in order to get a biography of calligraphy. From a historical point of view, Mr. Shui probably intends to imitate his hometown Gong.

Liu ling's calligraphy is good at both official script and cursive script. I dabble in famous artists of all ages, learn from the strengths of various families, tolerate personal temperament and follow the crowd. He set out from Ou Yangxun in his early years, became famous in Europe, and devoted himself to studying the epitaph of the Northern Wei Dynasty, which benefited a lot. Later, he studied under Mr. Zhang Hai, and his book style was steady and natural, dignified and unpretentious. His large-scale regular script works are marked clearly, with thick lines, rigorous structure, open layout, natural conciseness and smooth breath, thus appealing to both refined and popular tastes. The layman said: the words are regular, heavy and atmospheric; Insiders evaluated his skill, genre and composition, calling it majestic, virtual and real, black and white. On one occasion, I accompanied Mr. Wang Zhongwu, a famous calligrapher in China, and others out of Weishan Lake Hotel. I pointed to the signboard written by the opposite post office, and Mr. Wang Zhongwu, who loves to find faults, repeatedly praised: Yushu School has a bright future! I told Liu Lin Wang Zhongwu's comments and added my own feelings. I said: Calligraphy is an art, and its biggest feature compared with other arts is its extensive mass. The quality of a calligraphy work varies from person to person.
