The annual profit of each red deer in Qingyuan is 5000 yuan. This alone, the county can achieve a net income of more than 40 million yuan per year. Deer breeding has become a rich industry for farmers in Qingyuan. And these are just a small microcosm of "rich and clear technology".

Qingyuan mountain area is extremely rich in resources. For many years, resources have been sleeping in the mountains, which is a typical resource-exporting economy. It was once identified by the provincial government as one of the poverty-stricken counties in the province 15.

How can we strengthen the county and enrich the people? Qingyuan people realize that only through the introduction and dissemination of science and technology can the sustainable and comprehensive development and utilization of mountain resources be realized. 1999, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County was identified as one of the three efficiency demonstration counties in the province. Qingyuan has also made use of abundant wild vegetable resources to carry out research on artificial breeding technology and artificial high-yield cultivation technology of wild vegetables. Eight kinds of wild vegetables, such as Aralia elata, Gracilaria macrophylla, Gracilaria lemaneiformis and Artemisia aquatica, were successfully planted and bred, and ferns, ferns and Dryopteris squamosa were artificially returned to the nursery for high-yield cultivation. At present, the area of cultivated wild vegetables in the county has reached 30,000 mu, and the area of anti-season wild vegetables produced in greenhouses has reached 5,600 mu.
