Some time ago, Li Jin, a famous journalist, professor and expert on the reform and development of state-owned enterprises in the State Council, took me to visit the former site of Jiujianpeng Village.

Jiujianpeng Village is located in Tianbaoshan Scenic Area, Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It has a long history and a high reputation. This village is famous for its hard work and selfless dedication. Its old village site is a strange and huge natural stone shed with a length of 30m, a depth of10m and a height of 3m. The original natural scenery in the shed includes Shilong, Shihu and Shi Niu. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Liu came here to live in a stone shed, slash and burn, and reproduce, with stones as the wall, divided into nine rooms, hence the name Jiupeng. Nine sheds are surrounded by cliffs, high mountains and steep streams, and the natural environment is very bad. In those days, the life of the villagers was very difficult.

More than 30 years ago, Li Jin, a well-known reporter from Xinhua News Agency, interviewed and reported the deeds of Jiupeng for many times, which promoted the rapid development of Jiupeng and became an advanced model in the country, and was highly praised by leaders at all levels!
