At the meeting, Jiang elaborated on "what is the curriculum and teaching suitable for students with mental retardation": for students with mental retardation, the effect of drug treatment is limited after all, but the potential of education and rehabilitation is unlimited. As long as they are given appropriate equipment support and course teaching support, they are also capable of learning. Special education schools should attach importance to students' activities, experiences and participation, choose courses that students can accept, be familiar with and use in real life, formulate and implement personalized teaching plans on the original basis, and enhance students' self-activity ability and social viability.

It is reported that there are 8 public special education schools in Jinhua with more than 200 in-service teachers. In recent years, every school has to carry out educational seminars, teaching competitions, sports competitions, paper evaluation and other inter-school exchange and learning activities for teachers every semester.
