The Historical Evolution of Wan 'an Town

In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wan 'an Post was set up in Fuxian County (now Mianyang City).

Wanan county was set up in the Western Jin Dynasty, renamed as chanting county in the Southern Dynasties, and wanan county was restored in the Northern Dynasties and the Western Wei Dynasty.

In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), it was changed to Luojiang County. In the 16th year of Qing Shunzhi (1659), Luojiang County was merged into Deyang County.

In the seventh year of Yongzheng (1729), Luojiang County was restored. In the thirty-fourth year of Qianlong (1769), Luojiang County was abandoned again, merged into Mianzhou and moved to Zhangzhou. In the seventh year of Jiaqing (1802), Luojiang County was restored.

During the Republic of China, the territory of Luojiang County followed the Qing Dynasty and changed little. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the county administered 1 town and 14 township, namely Luojiang Township, Panlong Township, Yu Ying Township, Wenxing Township, Jiangyan Township, Xinsheng Township, Huilong Township, Jinshan Township, Dajing Township, Huijue Township and Heqing Township.

1959, Luojiang County was merged into Deyang County. 1984, Deyang County was abolished and Deyang Central District was established.

1On August 3, 1996, the State Council approved (Guo Han [1996] No.63): the downtown area of Deyang was abolished and Jingyang District and Luojiang County were established. Luojiang County governs Luojiang, Lu Ping, Jinshan, Yan Jia, Panlong, De 'an, Xinsheng, Huijue, Yu Ying, Wenxing 10, Dajing, Guangfu, Huilong and Baimaguan, and the county government is located in Luojiang Town.

From 65438 to 0997, Wan 'an Township was separated from Luojiang Town. The county covers an area of 478.8 square kilometers, with a population of 24 1 10,000, and governs 5 townships 1 town. The county government is located in Luojiang Town.

On April 7, 2006, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2006] 14) gave an official reply, and the administrative division system of Luojiang county and township was changed from the original 14 town and 1 township to 10 town. The specific reply is as follows:

First, cancel Wan 'an Township and Dajing, Guangfu, Huilong and De 'an towns.

Second, expand the administrative areas of five townships.

Incorporate the original administrative area of Wan 'an Township into Luojiang Town. Luojiang Town Government is located in Luojiang County.

Incorporate the administrative area of Dajing Town into Jinshan Town. Jinshanchang town government

Incorporate the administrative area of guangfu town into Lu Ping Town. The government of Lueping Town is stationed in Lueping Field.

Incorporate the former administrative region of huilong town into Yan Jia Town. Yan Jia Town Government is stationed in Yanjiachang.

Incorporate the former administrative area of De 'an Town into Xinsheng Town. Xinshengchang town government
