Development of Pharmaceutical Industry in Yang Zijiang, Jiangsu Province

Since its establishment, Yang Zijiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been aiming at making the pharmaceutical industry bigger and stronger and becoming an international enterprise, constantly accelerating the pace of scientific and technological innovation and building its own brand, building its core competitiveness, and the comprehensive economic strength of the enterprise has been rapidly improved. Since 1996, the economic and technical indicators of the enterprise have been ranked first in Jiangsu pharmaceutical industry for more than 10 years. Since 1997, it has been ranked among the top five in China pharmaceutical industry for many years. From 2004 to 2006, the group's sales, profits and tax indicators all jumped to the forefront of the national counterparts, ranking among the "Top 500 largest enterprise groups in China" and "Top 500 taxpayers in China" and becoming the "top scholars in new disciplines" of China pharmaceutical enterprises. In the development of enterprises, Yang Zijiang Pharmaceutical Group adheres to the development road of "rejuvenating enterprises through science and technology" and "strengthening enterprises through science and technology", and according to the new product development strategy of "three highs and one specialty" (high technology content, high added value, large market capacity and unique curative effect), the annual expenditure on technological innovation and development accounts for more than 5% of sales revenue. In addition to independent research, Industry-University-Research has cooperated extensively with famous academicians, experts and research institutions of major universities in China, and established joint laboratories with overseas senior researchers for joint research and development. The enterprise has set up "Postdoctoral Research Center" and "National Technology Center", and transferred the tentacles of scientific research to big cities, and successively set up scientific research centers in subsidiaries such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu and Guangzhou. Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, in 2003, Nanjing Hailing National Engineering Research Center for Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Technology was established in five universities and research institutes in the Yangtze River. As an important part of China (Taizhou) Medical City, Jiangsu (Taizhou) Institute of New Drugs, with a total investment of 654.38+83 million yuan, built by Yang Zijiang Pharmaceutical Group, has been listed as a major project of science and technology infrastructure construction in the 11th Five-Year Plan. By integrating scientific research resources, it is planned to build four R&D centers, namely, chemical medicine R&D technology center, pharmaceutical preparation engineering technology research center, Chinese medicine manufacturing technology engineering research center and biological medicine R&D technology center, and establish supporting scientific and technological achievements transformation centers and industrialization bases.
