Which province does Huaiyin belong to?

Huaian belongs to Jiangsu Province, formerly Huaiyin City, located in the north of Jiangsu Province, adjacent to Suqian, Yancheng and Yangzhou. Huai 'an is the hometown of Premier Zhou Enlai, originally named Huaiyin City, and later renamed Huai 'an City. Huai' an was originally a county-level city, later changed to Chuzhou District and later renamed Huai' an District. Premier Zhou's birthplace is now in Huai 'an District, and his former residence is still preserved.

Huaian has a history of more than 2200 years. The Qin Dynasty is located in this county, and there is a famous "Qingliangang Culture" site in the territory. It used to be the hub of grain transportation and salt transportation, with the governor's office of grain transportation and the governor's office of Jiangnan River.
