When does Xingtai Airport start to operate?

It was officially opened to navigation in the first half of 2022.

Xingtai airport is reconstructed and expanded by using the naval airport of Shahe City, Xingtai. The nature of the project is a domestic regional airport, with the flight zone index 4C, with a total investment of 680 million yuan. According to the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission, the design target year of the project is 2025, with an annual passenger throughput of 450,000 passengers, an annual postal cargo throughput of 1.300 tons, and 6080 flights.

It is planned to open five domestic routes, namely Xingtai, Shanghai, Xingtai, Hangzhou, Zhangjiakou, Xingtai, Haikou, Harbin, Xingtai, Chengdu, Hohhot, Xingtai and Guangzhou, with an annual operating frequency of 1093, and the annual passenger traffic of the first flight is about130,000 passengers.
