The river project that China Railway 14th Bureau won the bid in Fuyang is mainly the construction section of the Yangtze River to Huaihe River Project (Anhui Section), which is located in Fuyang City, Anhui Province, and is an important part of the Yangtze River to Huaihe River Project in the north. The project of diverting water from the Yangtze River to Huaihe River is a large-scale inter-basin water transfer project, which focuses on urban and rural water supply and developing Jianghuai shipping, combined with irrigation replenishment and improving the water ecological environment of Chaohu Lake and Huaihe River. From south to north, the project is divided into three sections, namely, diverting water from the Yangtze River to the nest, communicating with Jianghuai and transferring water to the north. The total length of the water transmission line is 723 kilometers, including 587 kilometers in Anhui Province. The South-to-North Water Transfer Project involves 17 counties (autonomous regions and municipalities).
