Census of Puweng Coal Mine, Zhijin County, Guizhou Province

The exploration area is located about 25 kilometers east of Zhijin County, Guizhou Province. The administrative division is under the jurisdiction of Puweng Township, Zhijin County, Bijie Prefecture. The mining area is 24.69 square meters. km. The climate of the mining area is a humid subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual rainfall of 1438.4 mm, and the rainstorm and heavy rain season from May to September every year. The annual average temperature is 14.2℃.

From May 2008 to July 2011, the 115 Geological Brigade of the Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development carried out exploration work. The type of mineral being explored was coal mines, the level of work was general survey, and the exploration fund was invested 5.2 million yuan.

(2) Description of results

The coal-bearing strata in the exploration area are the Longtan Formation of the Upper Permian. There are 6 mineable coal seams in the area, numbered M6, M16, and M18. , M21, M29, M30. M6 coal seam: Most of the mineable coal seams; 0.35 to 2.46 meters thick, with an average coal thickness of 1.42 meters; raw coal ash content is 21.14% to 29.13%, with an average of 26.03%; sulfur content is 1.6% to 11.55%, with an average of 3.32%; The calorific value is 22.95~26.87MJ/kg, with an average of 24.73MJ/kg. M16 coal seam: Most of the mineable coal seams; thickness 0~1.76 meters, average coal thickness 1.04 meters; raw coal ash content is 17.59%~23.83%, average 19.53%; sulfur content is 2.27%~4.75%, average 3.50%; The calorific value is 24.46~28.14MJ/kg, with an average of 27.42MJ/kg. M18 coal seam: most of the mineable coal seams; 0.09 to 2.03 meters thick, with an average coal thickness of 1.11 meters; raw coal ash content is 10.72% to 29.38%, with an average of 19.53%; sulfur content is 0.54% to 5.17%, with an average of 2.66%; The calorific value is 24.09~30.96MJ/kg, with an average of 27.25MJ/kg. M21 coal seam: Minable coal seam in the whole area; thickness 0.81~2.31 meters, average coal thickness 1.44 meters; raw coal ash content is 13.47%~35.82%, with an average of 23.22%; sulfur content is 1.29%~8.61%, with an average of 4.40%; The calorific value is 20.43~29.89MJ/kg, with an average of 25.26MJ/kg. M29 coal seam: Most of the mineable coal seams are 0.46 to 2.62 meters thick, with an average coal thickness of 1.30 meters; the raw coal ash content is 14.32% to 35.98%, with an average of 22.31%; the sulfur content is 1.37% to 3.67%, with an average of 2.43%; The calorific value is 21.21~29.16MJ/kg, with an average of 26.55MJ/kg. M30 coal seam: Most of the mineable coal seams are 0.34 to 1.54 meters thick, with an average coal thickness of 0.79 meters; the raw coal ash content is 28.26% to 36.99%, with an average of 32.8%; the sulfur content is 1.06% to 5.44%, with an average of 3.32%; The calorific value is 20.86~23.83MJ/kg, with an average of 22.33MJ/kg.

The approved and registered resources in the work area are 179 million tons, of which (333) resources are 119 million tons and (334) resources are 61 million tons.

(3) Brief process of achieving results

From May 2008 to July 2011, the 115 Geological Brigade of Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources was entrusted by Zhijin County Huayuan Information Service Center , carried out a census of Puweng syncline coal mines in Zhijin County, Guizhou Province, and reviewed and recorded coal mines (elevation 1450-500 meters) with retained resources of (333+334) 197 million tons, of which (333) resources were 119 million tons, ( 334) The resource amount is 60 million tons, which has reached the scale of large coal deposits.
