Where is Volvo produced in China?

At present, Volvo Asia Pacific has three automobile manufacturers, an engine factory and a research and development center. Center D, Chengdu Capital Vehicle Factory, Heilongjiang Daqing Vehicle Factory, Zhejiang Taizhou Vehicle Factory and Hebei Zhangjiakou Engine Factory, and Shanghai R&D Center; Center D Volvo Chengdu Capital Factory is located at No.368, 7th Road, Checheng East, Longquanyi District, Chengdu, covering an area of 500,000 square meters. According to two shifts, the production capacity can reach1.20 thousand units/year. Volvo Chengdu Capital Factory was officially put into production in August 20 13, and S60L produced on this production line has been put on the market.

Chengdu-Chengdu factory is of strategic significance: it is the first Volvo factory in China and the first complete Volvo factory outside Europe. Chengdu Chengdu Capital Factory has been established in accordance with Volvo global quality standards in terms of equipment, production, procurement and quality management, and its products will be supplied to the global market. The Chengdu factory plays an important role in the strategic layout of Volvo China.
