Industrial Status of Chaohe Town

In April 2003, Shandong Agricultural Vehicle Co., Ltd. settled in Chaohe Town, and Chaohe Town began to build Rizhao Export Trade Processing Zone, with a planned area of 20 square kilometers, to build and develop industrial enterprises mainly engaged in mechanical processing and manufacturing. In April 2005, it was renamed Rizhao North Processing Zone. In 2006, it was changed to Shandong Wulian Industrial Park, and in 2009, it was officially renamed Rizhao North Economic Development Zone with the approval of the provincial government. It is a provincial development zone.

Before 2002, the industrial scale of this town was relatively small. There are 2 large-scale enterprises in the town, with individual and private households 137 households, total industrial income120,000 yuan and financial income of 2.43 million yuan. After the construction of Rizhao export trade processing zone, the number of industrial enterprises has been increasing, and in 2003, Wuzheng Group and other enterprises have settled down one after another. By the end of 2005, there were 25 industrial enterprises in the town, with a total investment of 350 million yuan and an annual sales income of 900 million yuan, mainly processing and manufacturing.
