I still remember that what impressed me most about studying sales was Maslow's five major needs. At that time, I didn't quite understand this meaning until I left school and came to the society. I saw many enterprises talking about Maslow's theory. I slowly began to understand its truth. Its five major needs are also closely linked with marketing.

Whether people or things, the first thing is to solve the most basic physiological needs, and then the security concerns and social aspects. Finally, it is promoted to the spiritual level of mutual respect and the value of self-realization.

1. Wholesale goods

I study our major very hard, because I think sales can not only meet people from all walks of life, but also let you learn a lot about being a man. Therefore, my first job after graduation was sales.

In his early twenties, he was particularly aggressive. I came to a strange city, Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. The business here is relatively developed, and it is also the most prosperous city in Henan, and there will be more room for development.

Carrying a bag, I found a shared room in 58 cities. After settling down, I began to look for a job. I don't know what kind of work I can do and what suits me.

At that time, I was a road idiot and didn't know the way. In order to find a job, I usually take a bus from the first stop to the last stop. When you see a bustling place, just wander there, looking for recruitment information.

Finally, under the recommendation of a friend, I went to a wholesale market to do glasses wholesale. My task was to introduce the uses and styles of glasses to customers and then match them with appropriate glasses. Because it is wholesale, the goods that customers want are all complete sets in boxes. Some customers are old customers. Here they are, they don't need to be introduced at all. Just deliver the goods directly.

Because this is my first sales job, I work very hard to do my job well. Later, because I often worked overtime until the early morning, I worked overtime until two in the morning. In fact, every day's work is the same, with glasses, glasses, packaging, delivery, delivery. I hardly touch a few customers every day, and finally I really can't stand the choice to leave.

2. Store sales

I thought at that time, since wholesale is so hard and I can't learn anything, I might as well do retail. Retail has contacted many customers, so I am sure I can learn a lot and meet outstanding people from all walks of life, which will improve my sales level.

Finally, I went to a nearby water cup shop with a big store to sell water cups. The cups in their shop are all brand thermos cups or plastic cups used in summer.

We hold an early meeting and dance every morning to improve the enthusiasm of employees. Then I will stay in the store and wait for the guests to purchase. What we have to do is to be ourselves and seize every customer's opportunity to buy at home.

The shopping mall is located in the most prosperous business district in the city center, but there are still not many customers every day. Occasionally, students in dribs and drabs buy a lot of small water cups and take them to school to sell.

I am very free when I go to work every day. Some people entertain customers, but no one learns professional knowledge there. Life is unremarkable. Whenever a customer comes, we enthusiastically introduce the function and use of the cup to the customer like grasping at straws, and our mouths fly around. However, many customers just look around and leave.

The company has arranged a training course to stimulate potential. At that time, we were all very excited after listening to it, and when we returned to work, we all faded. The job didn't last long. I've been thinking about what kind of sales job suits me. Why is personal practice different from textbooks?

The so-called store sales means that as long as your store is open every day, there will be business, but the quality of business depends partly on the geographical location of the store and partly on the marketing ability of the salesman. In store sales, we are in a passive state, waiting for customers to come and buy your goods. Sometimes what we want to express is not what customers want, so you should have enough strength and methods.

3. Total turnover

In order to challenge myself more, I began to put my own pattern bigger. The first two jobs were selling products in stores. I was in a passive and waiting state, so I had great limitations. So I want to take the initiative to visit customers and find a bigger market.

Later, I submitted a lot of resumes online, and I was more experienced when choosing a job. I want to sell social products, so I haven't worked in any store. I learned to analyze its market and future development prospects. Finally, I chose to stay in a company that sells credit card machines.

When I first came into contact with electronic products, I thought at that time: few people carry cash when they go out now, and some merchants and individuals have to swipe their cards, so the credit card machine should have a good market space.

I have no experience in running a business for the first time. An old employee of the company personally led me to run the market. I learned about the usage and function of the product, and then started to promote the credit card machine with the printed business card of the company.

The leader told me that if I want to do this job well, I must hone my will, be not afraid of rejection, be thick-skinned, persist and be able to bear hardships.

In this way, every day my bag is full of business cards to start my running career, and the whole Zhengzhou market is full of business cards. At that time, I was simply obedient and did it. I checked the terrain of Zhengzhou market online, and it is very clear. I go to the market once a day and then hand out business cards door to door.

At first, I was embarrassed. I'm afraid of being blown out and being snubbed by others. Every time you enter the store, cheer yourself up: you are the best, you are the best. Then take a deep breath, go into the store and send business cards to merchants to introduce their products and uses.

Fortunately, I sold several machines in the first month of work, which stems from my persistence. I tasted the sweetness of sales. Because there is no time in this job, you get more for more work, and your contribution is in direct proportion to time.

Later, I worked in sales for a long time and summed up a lot of sales experience. For example, I learned to screen customers. Every time I send a business card to the market, I will record the list of interested customers, start to analyze the needs of customers, and then continue to follow up with customers twice. When customers buy my products, I will try my best to provide after-sales service for them, often give them small gifts, make friends with them, and ask them to introduce me to them.

In fact, selling is not just selling products, but selling you. When others recognize you, they will recognize your products.

Of course, there are many grievances in business sales that you need to bear. Sometimes I am embarrassed to be kicked out when I send business cards to several markets, and some people call names. And those who were kicked out by security. You must have endurance.

I still remember one time, when I sent out my business card, I met a very stingy boss and told me to run two machines at a time. I readily agreed and gave him the lowest price. I got the information he needed. Two or three days later, I parked my car for a few hours to deliver goods to him. He went back on his word and said that my machine was not good and the rate was high ... At that time, I was crying because of his unreasonable anger.

But he ignored it and insisted on returning the plane. At that time, our company stipulated that customers should pay a handling fee of 100 yuan in advance if they returned the plane. Filled with grievances, I went back with two machines. That matter has affected me for many days.

Later, I slowly began to feel relieved. Faced with such unreasonable customers, you must learn to be flexible. I thank those setbacks for making me stronger. No matter what kind of customers I meet in the future, I am particularly open-minded and know how to face them.

Doing this job in business really made me realize the ups and downs of sales. Generally speaking, there is no basic salary but commission in doing business, which has cultivated my viability and forced me to keep moving forward and working hard.

At the same time, it also honed my interpersonal skills. Although I didn't reach the state of "talking to people and talking nonsense", I knew when to say what to say.

When I face the competition in the same industry, I can calmly share the advantages of my industry, and I can better control the scene and master my emotions.

Until now, I haven't given up this business job. Of course, there are many online sales, such as telephone sales, which need to make hundreds of calls every day, and the probability of success may be 5%. No matter what marketing, there will be great knowledge. The nature of sales is nothing more than these. No matter what work you do, you will get better returns as long as you put in enthusiasm and persistence.
