Where does Xiaocaoe come from in Yuyao?

The ancestors of Xiao Cao E in Yuyao should be from Shaoxing or Shangyu. This comes from an old legend:

According to legend, during the reign of Emperor An of the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a fisherman named Cao on the west bank of Gushun River (now at the junction of Shangyu and Yuyao). He has a 14-year-old daughter named Cao E, who is a famous filial daughter. One morning, Cao E's father used the fishing season to go fishing in the river. As a result, he was caught in a storm and fell into the river with his boat and people. In order to find the body of his father who fell into the river, Cao E cried by the river for a day and a night, and then jumped into the river to save his father from going ashore. Three days later, people saw the river wash their bodies to the shore, only to see Cao E with his hands behind his back and his father on his back. Although Cao E died, she found her father's body and took him back to the river. People say that Cao E's filial piety touched the world. Later, people called this river Cao 'e River. The place where Cao's father came out of the water was named Cao 'e Village, and Cao 'e was honored as the queen. There is a Caoetang on the riverside, and plastic gold is her monument. Cao E was therefore listed as the first of the "Twenty-four Filial Pieties".

Later, it was reported that Queen Cao E dreamed that others were going to the East China Sea, and everyone carried the statue all the way to the east. Today, when I passed this beach in Xiaocao E Town, the statue took root and couldn't be lifted any more. Everyone thought it was a treasure. Later, Shaoxing people or Shangyu people came to settle down one after another, making this desolate beach become a young and vibrant town. The place is called Xiaocao E, and there is a poem to prove it: "Cao E patrols the sea and has no intention of returning to heaven."
