Wu 'an City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, managed by Handan City, located in the south of Hebei Province, with Handan and Changzhi in the west, Anyang in the south and Xingtai in the north, with a distance of about 200 kilometers from Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan and Zhengzhou.

Wu 'an is a mountainous county (city) located in the contact zone between the uplift belt of Taihang Mountain and the subsidence belt of North China Plain, which can be generally divided into three types: mountainous area (29.7% of the total area), low hilly area (45%) and basin (25.3%).
