Daliuta Town is located at the northern end of Shenmu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Located in one of the eight major coalfields in the world, it is the hinterland center of Shenfu Dongsheng coalfield. It is 57 miles from Shenmu County in the south, 0/70km from Yulin City, 0/80km from Baotou City, the industrial center, and 30km from Hongjiannao (Shenhu) Tourism Development Zone, the largest desert freshwater lake in China. The landform of the town is a strip between two rivers (Wulanmulun River and Berniuchuan River), which is leaf-shaped.
