Brief introduction of Macheng economic development zone

Hubei Macheng Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as Development Zone) was established in August 2006, 1992, formerly known as Macheng Jinqiao Technological Development Zone. 1August, 1994, the provincial government approved it as a provincial-level development zone with document Efazheng [194] 106. From June, 5438 to February, 2005, it was renamed "Macheng Economic Development Zone in Hubei Province" after being audited by the State Council. In March 2006, Hubei Macheng Economic Development Zone was upgraded to a sub-county unit. The planning scope of the development zone starts from the old city in the east, reaches the second-class station of Macheng Railway Station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway in the west, reaches Xiling Avenue in the south and Jinqiao Avenue in the north, with a total area of 6 square kilometers. The industrial layout of the planned development zone is bounded by Beijing-Kowloon Avenue, with textile and clothing groups and food in the east, textile and clothing groups in the south and food in the north. The middle section is the electromechanical electronics group; The western part is a group of mechanical automobile parts; The pharmaceutical, chemical and building materials group is located on the north side of Jinqiao Avenue, focusing on the development of high-tech industries such as electronic information technology, bioengineering technology and new medical technology, new materials and equipment technology, electromechanical integration technology, and new energy-saving and environmental protection technologies.
