Where is Yunnan Liuku?

There is a Liuku town in Nujiang Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province (in Lushui County, the capital of Nujiang River), where there is a famous "Yuejinqiao Hot Spring", which is famous for the "Bathroom Meeting" held every Spring Festival. Liuku is adjacent to Robbie Snow Mountain in the east and Gaoligong Mountain in the west, and the Nujiang River passes through the territory. Jiangdong is the political and commercial center, Jiangxi is the cultural area, and it is the capital of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture. Bai people say that in the past, it was a place where rare birds and animals lived in caves, and Tusi officials often detained deer here, so it was called "Deer Buckle". "Lukou" is a homonym of "Liuku" and a comparison of popular etymology. Han people say that there are six peaks near here, all of which have treasures, and * * * has six treasure houses, so it is called "Six Treasures". Obviously, this is far-fetched. The Lisu people who lived here earlier said that water often appeared everywhere and there was Longtan underground, so it was called Longdong (lut ku in the Lisu language of Longdong, transliterated as Liuku in Chinese). Different opinions have different bases, but they can only prove that Liuku is an ancient place name. Liuku, a place filled with miasma in the past, is now full of spring and vitality. Whenever night falls, the buildings and bright lights on both sides of the Yangtze River reflect the Nujiang River and shine with light waves, just like a quiet and beautiful night scene painting. All the tourists who have been here praise the new city of this canyon, a pearl of the Nujiang River.
