What is a day’s work like doing quantitative trading in China?
A day’s work in quantitative trading:
8:00~9:00: Open the trading strategy and set some operating parameters
9:00~9: 30: Observe the operation of the strategy and ensure that there are no problems
9:30~15:30: Solve problems with existing strategies, research new strategies, and test new ideas
15:30~17 :00: Analyze trading records and determine the trading plan for the next day
17:00~18:00: Sports
Job responsibilities:
Analyze financial markets (Futures, stocks, etc.) data to find available opportunities; develop and maintain quantitative trading strategies; provide technical support for machine learning/data mining;
Job requirements:
1 .Proficient in computer programming, proficient in at least one programming language, Python is preferred;
Science and engineering background, good knowledge reserves of mathematical statistics, data mining and other related knowledge, familiar with machine learning methods (analyzing scientific problems and Corresponding data, establish models and methods, verify models and methods, apply models and methods and analyze results, improve models and methods);
Have experience in processing and analyzing large amounts of data, and be able to skillfully select and apply data mining and machine learning methods to solve practical problems in scientific research and work; good self-learning and rapid learning abilities, passion for work, and a fondness for the financial industry; two years or more of laboratory research experience or R&D work experience is preferred;
