Where does Kunyang belong in Kunming?

This place belongs to Jinning District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

Kunyang is the political, economic and cultural center of Jinning District, Kunming. It borders Garlic Township and Dianchi Lake in the east, Baofeng Town in the south, Erjie Township in the west and Haikou Town in Xishan District in the north.

Kunyang got its name because it is located at the east foot of Yueshan Mountain on the south bank of Dianchi Lake (known as Kunchi in ancient times), and the sun shines all year round. Han said that Jianling, Jin belongs to Lengqiu, Liang belongs to Yong and Sui. Kunyang is the birthplace of great navigator Zheng He (formerly known as Maha's second son Ma and Ming Taizu's Zhu Dici's surname Zheng), and Zheng He Park is built on the Moon Mountain in the jurisdiction.
