Yan'an Vocational and Technical College is located on the west side of the Zaoyuan revolutionary site in Yan'an. The school was formerly known as "Lu Xun Normal School", the first normal school named by Chairman Mao himself and founded by the Communist Party of China in Yan'an in 1937.
