What interesting things happened during your interview?
I submitted an unknown number of resumes when I was interviewing for a job. At the beginning, it was a sinking sea, and I voted for more than 20 resumes without the following. Finally, I read my resume and found that my nephew's salary was 10 thousand. No wonder there is no following. Finally, at my request, he was changed to a salary interview, and the first interview was held.
Early in the morning, wearing a suit and holding a resume, he took a bus for a long time and came to the headquarters of a company in the suburbs. After being confirmed by the front desk phone, he was taken to the human resources department.
The HR who received him said that our director was in a meeting, and he sat in the reception area and waited.
After more than an hour, only one intern girl poured him a glass of water, and no one paid attention to him. He was too anxious to wait, so he asked the HR who received him.
The man said, wait, our director is very busy, and we don't have the patience for the interview. How can I find a job?
So the little nephew who just entered the workplace waited for more than two hours, during which no one asked him, just thinking that he was transparent.
My little nephew really can't sit still. He looked around for the toilet, and then went to the toilet to ask about the situation. When he came back, he was told by HR that you missed this interview. The director came just now, and when he saw that no one was there, he had great doubts about your integrity. I'm telling you now that this interview has been cancelled, so you can go. Our director says you are not suitable for this position.
For this kind of interview, only the word "hehe" is really competent. Finally, my nephew's teeth itch, but such a big company has no place to reason, so it can only waste a few hours to leave.
After the second part, my nephew interviewed another company and showed up at the appointed time and place on time. On a hot summer day, he was sweating like a pig and kept his appointment on time.
When I arrived at the interview site, I was told by the other personnel to come back tomorrow. The personnel director took a temporary vacation today, and then changed the subject to make an appointment for tomorrow morning.
The key point is that he called to confirm the accuracy of today's interview before going, but was later stood up by the company director. For such an unprincipled company, it is really angry and funny. Later, I told him that such a company should never join the company.
Part 3 once again, my nephew has already had experience and no longer blindly submits his resume. Now he will choose his favorite company to submit his resume. This time, he happily received an interview call from a company he liked very much.
I was very excited and shared this interview with me. I also made full preparations, printed a colorful resume, wore a clean and tidy suit to show respect, and rehearsed some questions that might be asked in advance.
However, I met a great interviewer in the interview.
The interviewer was half an hour late at the appointed time.
Then I put on a bad face during the whole interview, scanned my resume for three seconds, and then began to deny all kinds of dissatisfaction, such as lack of work experience, inability to reflect my work ability, a little low, and even personal attacks.
Finally, I scolded him for half an hour, and even didn't give him time to ask questions, so I ended the interview hastily.
For this application experience, the little nephew was wronged to death, and all kinds of dissatisfaction made him realize the cruelty of society.
The fourth part I have a friend around me. After coming out of state-owned enterprises, I thought of the development of high-end internet industry, and then I was recommended to an internet company in Beijing for an interview. The interview scene is quite spectacular. One quota interviewed 200 people, and the interviewer sent out two papers for job seekers to answer on the spot.
The topics are divergent thinking, such as selling a bottle of brand shampoo, what kind of copywriting and planning you want to use, and promoting it into explosions. There are six themes in the two papers.
Based on his previous work experience, he carefully wrote his own perfect answers and ideas, and then ended the interview after being told by the interviewer that we would inform the results as soon as possible.
It was not until I left the company gate and heard some people chatting nearby who were also interviewing that I realized that the topics of more than 200 papers were different. Finally, he suddenly realized that this is a process of borrowing brains from this company, and it is not a real recruitment at all. They kill two birds with one stone by giving a lot of advertising ideas through a large number of job seekers, and then re-creating, without paying the manuscript fee.
Finally, my friend went to the front desk to talk, but was told that this was a normal interview process, and prevaricated with some high-sounding reasons.
Inadvertently, I was taken away from my creative thinking, and I paid my mental work in vain. I still can't figure it out and I'm angry.
Through the above real cases, we can easily see that there is a lack of basic respect between job seekers and interviewers in the current workplace.
Leadership time is a cost, so job seekers' time is not a cost?
For the interview, I have three pertinent opinions to share with you.
First: the concept of time. When you make an appointment, you must keep it. This is the least courtesy to be a man. No matter the interview time you have arranged with the interviewer or the meeting time the interviewer has arranged with you, both parties should not break the appointment. This is the first step of a good conversation.
If this happens during the interview and your waiting time has exceeded half an hour, please leave decisively. This kind of company, even if it is one of the top 500 companies in the world, is also an irregular enterprise, and even has no basic attitude of respecting others.
If you miss an appointment for no reason, so that the interview company wastes time waiting for you to apply, then you need to review it. Please give yourself three seconds to consider whether to go or not when you answer the interview call. Based on basic respect, please cherish the time of yourself and others.
Second: attitude. Both sides of job interview need to have a good attitude benchmark, listen carefully when communicating with each other, pay attention to their attitude when asking and answering questions, and explain their views politely, truthfully and objectively. This is the second step of a good dialogue.
Third: cherish the fruits of your own and others' labor. In the interview process, it is very important to respect the labor achievements of others, especially in the case of Part4.
As an interviewer, please respect the achievements of others' labor and don't steal and waste the time and cost of job seekers at will.
As a job seeker, you should also keep the business secrets you overheard and the results with business secrets based on the minimum workplace ethics.
