Brief introduction of Shannipo Hydropower Station

Shannipo Hydropower Station is located in Shunchang Township, Shuicheng County, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. It is the eighth cascade hydropower station in the comprehensive planning of Beipanjiang River Basin, which is 362km away from Shuicheng 1 18km away from Guiyang City. The upstream is about 23km away from Shibanzhai Hydropower Station, and the downstream is about 75km away from Zhao Guang Hydropower Station. Near the project area, there are 2 17 provincial highway and 320 county road (riverside east highway) crossing the river, which is very convenient for external traffic. The project focuses on power generation. The normal water level of the power station reservoir is 885m, the total storage capacity is 85 million cubic meters, and the regulating storage capacity is 24.6 million cubic meters, which is a daily regulating reservoir. The total installed capacity of the power station is 185.5MW, of which the installed capacity of the main plant is 180 MW, the installed capacity of the ecological flow small unit is 5.5MW, the guaranteed output is 20.78MW, and the average power generation for many years is 678.8 million kWh.
