At about 9: 30 pm on May 25th, a taxi was hijacked with a knife near Oscar Banquet City, Nanpai Road, Baotou City, causing a serial collision of 8 cars at the west 100 meters of the intersection of Tietie Street and Baiyun Road. The cause of the accident was that the robbers who robbed the taxi fled from west to east on the steel street, and the Toyota overbearing car behind them chased after it, causing the taxi to hit the guardrail in the middle of the road and collide with the Land Rover car driving from east to west.

When the reporter rushed to the scene of the accident, six seriously damaged cars were still parked in the middle of the road, and the guardrail had been smashed about 100 meters. Taxis, Land Rover and Toyota cars were seriously damaged, and hundreds of people were on the scene. According to witnesses at the scene, taxis and Toyota overbearing cars were driving very fast. The overtaking car kept blocking the taxi, causing it to hit the central guardrail and then collide with the oncoming Land Rover. The central guardrail was hit all over the sky, and many vehicles were traffic accidents when they avoided the flying guardrail. Then the robber driving the taxi was pushed down by the police and taken away by the grass on the roadside. The owner of the Land Rover, who suffered the worst impact, said that he was driving normally from east to west when a taxi suddenly hit him, which was very fast and there was no time to dodge.

He said that at about 9: 20 pm, just after the passengers were put down at the Oscar Banquet City on Nanpai Road, a man got on the bus, waving a knife and saying to drive faster. Then a policeman came up with an electric baton to arrest the man. In desperation, I opened the car door and got off. The man climbed into the cab and drove away. It is not clear exactly how the accident happened. According to the barbecue stall near the Oscar Banquet City, around 9 pm, two groups of people were fighting nearby, and some people were seriously injured. When the police arrived, these people began to run wild. A man with a knife hijacked a taxi and ran away, which then caused an accident in which eight cars collided.

There is no clear answer as to whether Toyota is driven by the police or by the party involved in the fight. At present, the incident is under further investigation.
