First, transportation (how to get to the destination directly and how to save money)

When we went, Beihai didn't support Cao Cao's special car. Fortunately, Didi taxi can still be used.

1. Shuttle service

It is a lie for hotels to support airport pick-up service, at least in Beihai, but it is different on the island. This will be described in detail below. First of all, if you are flying to Beihai, you must not choose to pick up the plane at the hotel, because it is 90 or 100 at a time. Of course, local tyrants please ignore this one ~

There are 20 people on the airport bus, and the destination is the urban railway station. It costs more than ten yuan to sit there. This is my first experience of choosing airport pick-up service. Airport bus+Didi.

It's better than falling directly from the airport or choosing the pick-up service.

Of course, on the island, the hotel owner we booked was quite good. There are free shuttle buses on and off the island. Although the hotel is not far from the dock on the outlying island, such humanistic care is still quite good.

2. Island bus card VS battery car

Because when we went (April 13), it was the off-season, and many things were half price. The original price of Weizhou Island's bus card was 50, which was very attractive at the special price of 20 yuan at that time, but I still didn't buy it, because we were all 40. And you can only sit for ten times.

What's even more frightening is that! ! ! Buses on the island can only take the main road (that is, the thickest pink line on the island), and other places need to walk.

Although the island is not big, but for lazy cancer patients, going out to play is just a comfort, right, so of course you can't wronged yourself! So instead of buying a bus card, we chose a battery car. The first afternoon and the second afternoon, we spent 50 yuan (be sure to bargain! Sixty a day, thirty for half a day, and then ten dollars for an hour or two. Try to bargain! ), and then ride on the island! Go wherever you want, the kind that drives directly to the entrance of the scenic spot you want to go. But some scenic spots have to pay parking fees, three yuan.

3. Book tickets in advance.

Everyone knows what the above three times mean. Even in the off-season, I was repeatedly reminded by the hotel owner in advance: buy tickets in advance!

There are a fixed number of boats to the island, and there are only a few flights a day. There won't be any more when sold out, mainly to control the passenger flow, because the island can't accommodate so many guests, so it's still the same sentence:

If you, like me, don't like noisy crowds and crowded beaches, I believe the beach near the international port will be your dish.

Haigang beach

These beaches, which are not commercialized, can't swim in the sea (unsafe), but it is ok to walk along the coastline, especially suitable for two people to walk quietly. Moreover, these beaches that have not been commercialized have many small crabs! There is also a certain chance to meet jellyfish or something.

There are also some beaches on Weizhou Island, which are very suitable for watching sunrise and sunset.

Sunrise: Rainbow Beach, Shell Beach

According to the hotel owner, if you go to Rainbow Beach in the tourist season, you may be charged extra by the local islanders, but it is not expensive, about 10 yuan. It was the off-season when we went, so we only paid parking fees (yes, battery cars also have parking fees. On the streets of Beihai, battery cars should not be misplaced, but should be parked in those roadside parking spaces. It is also mentioned above. )

So I didn't go to sunrise beach in the morning, but I went in the afternoon. At dusk, we drove to Shiluokou, which is a very suitable place to watch the sunset. Beihai:

Don't go to mangroves. . . Really, at least in the off-season, don't go

I spent more than 60 quick tickets and took a long-distance look at crabs and jumping fish in mangroves. . . What about chasing the sea? What about national performances? Nothing! ! ! That kind of thing can only be seen in the promotional film at the ticket office at the door.

Of course, if you go in the peak season, these performances may be available. Whether mangroves were worth visiting at that time is another matter.

If you want to go here. . .

Tickets: Ticket office tickets 120 yuan/person. You can buy it at half price if you buy it on the US delegation, but the US delegation has to buy the ticket one hour in advance! That is to say, when you decide to go to the mangrove forest, please buy the ticket with the tour group one hour before departure, and then you can pick up the ticket directly when you arrive (it takes one hour to pick up the ticket online).

In addition, Beihai Old Street is also a place suitable for taking pictures but not for eating.

Weizhou Island:

Besides the main beach on the island, the place worth visiting is the Catholic Church. The church is beautifully decorated, and the backyard decoration is really beautiful, which is very suitable for young ladies who love to take pictures.

I believe everyone's interest in food is the highest, so I put it at the end (funny)

But I don't have time to take pictures when I seriously enjoy the food, so here is only the most practical advice for you:

1. Leave the seafood to this island.

On the first day in Beihai, I couldn't help but go to Qiaogang Fengqing Street to eat seafood. however

The restaurants in that place are very expensive (compared with the island)! Besides, no! All right! Eat! Especially friends in Hunan and the north, the shrimp will be ok if it is cooked in half. After secondary processing, it still has a strong smell. According to the waiter, this is the way local people eat shrimp. I don't know if it doesn't suit the taste of the local people. The first seafood dinner was a failure.

Of course, I can't generalize. Maybe other stores will cook delicious food, but I only share my subjective feelings. This place is not for me!

In Weizhou Island, Nanwan Market is a must. It's a seafood wholesale market. Outside the market, there is a public notice listing conscience vendors and black-hearted vendors. I personally bought seafood in Nanwan market (it will close at 6 or 7 pm, and the price is the lowest at this time), and then I took it to the snack street in Nanwan for processing, because it was cheap and delicious. 2. The coconut milk in Catholic Church is good.

On the island, there are not as many buildings as we thought. Most snacks are concentrated near the scenic spot, including coconut milk in the Catholic church. Holding a cool coconut milk outside the church is really a great experience (why outside the church? Because eating is not allowed in the church)

During my few travel experiences, I found that things in some scenic spots were expensive and unpalatable. . . Beihai is no exception this time, especially Qiaogang Fengqing Street and Beihai Old Street, because they don't need any loyalty, and the guests leave after eating. Even if the taste is bad, there will still be a steady stream of guests coming to them.

And where are the really delicious local dishes?

Of course, those who stay in the city center or where residents gather all the year round. These shops can stand the test of the masses. Both the price and taste are accepted by the local people, and the reliability is naturally much higher. So after returning to Beihai from Weizhou Island, we lived near the city, which was a real experience of the local flavor.
