It's an honor to invite you to our school! I am glad to hear that you like this city very much, and I am glad to share our name and cultural history with you. Tianjin is one of the four municipalities directly under the Central Government of China and an important economic center in the north. It is divided into thirteen districts and three counties, with a total area of 1 1946.88 square kilometers, 94% of which is plain. Tianjin is located in the northeast corner of North China Plain, from Yanshan Mountains to the east of Bohai Sea. The coastline extends about 153 km. You like traveling, and I'm sure you'll like it here very much.

Tianjin has distinct seasons all year round. The climate is both continental and maritime, and the weather is very comfortable. Since you have lived in South Florida for many years, living here must be a wonderful experience for you. Maybe we will have a chance to go skating and throw snowballs together.

Tianjin means the place where the emperor crossed the river. The first time I got its name was in 1404, and Minda University built a fortress.

It was named Tianjin Wei Bao (Wei refers to the military organization of the Ming Dynasty). You told me in your letter that you teach literature and history in America, so I believe you will appreciate our history and culture.
