The enrollment targets are male students who graduated from science high schools in ordinary middle schools and participated in the national unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities, aged between 16 and 19 (the date of birth is calculated according to the Gregorian calendar), and the students' household registration is in the recruitment area.

Non-fresh high school graduates (repeat students) are strictly prohibited from participating in the recruitment. In aviation, according to the type of aircraft, it is divided into fighter, fighter-bomber, bomber, transport plane, reconnaissance plane, electronic countermeasure machine, early warning aircraft, aerial tanker and helicopter.

Through the preliminary publicity of provinces and cities, students and parents can understand the relevant policies, and encourage and mobilize those male students who have good physical fitness and are willing to apply for the exam.
