Tattoos are not allowed when joining the military. Civil servants are not allowed to have tattoos. The main reason is due to cultural differences.

First of all, people with tattoos cannot become civil servants, and even many state-owned enterprises will turn them away. Because tattoos are not a mainstream culture in our country’s history and culture. Although tattoos have become a fashionable culture that pursues individuality in modern times, civil servants represent the image of the country, so tattoos are still not allowed. Secondly, some senior personnel said that if the company hires people with tattoos, it will also affect the company's image. When you go out to discuss business, having tattoos on your body is not good for your customers, nor is it good for your company's image.

Finally, although some people think tattoos are cool, many people cannot accept them. If a person with tattoos is hired by the company, his colleagues may alienate him because of his tattoos, which will affect the company's working atmosphere and the tattooed person will not be able to integrate well into the team. Tattoos are very popular among some groups, but it remains a minority culture. Currently, most Chinese people still cannot accept tattoos. Therefore, HR professionals must think carefully when encountering a tattoo artist during the recruitment process.
